This rare find is designed and made with finest quality mahogany as well as all the classical elements one would fine in the large desks of this period. Most likely a cabinet makers prototype of what the original might look like to a client.

The top hinged lid opens to an interior empty well, front does not open but is flanked by two tapered free standing richly veneered mahogany columns all on classical turned bun feet. Original caster inset wheels. All original condition most likely Boston or NY makers.
