A fine and rare set of six tiger maple chairs. These fine examples each have rich Tiger maple striped carved top crest panels with floral motif above a central carved classical medallion back splat. Grecian clismos design circa 1820. – 1825 New York origin with a maker possibly by the famous Duncan Phyfe known to have used Tiger maple on various pieces.

Excellent original condition throughout.
