SET OF SIX NEW YORK CLASSICAL FEDERAL CHAIRS, 1810 – 1815

A fine set of six mahogany dining chairs in the Grecian Clismo inspired design. The raised paneled top crest , with a middle curved molded back support on curved Sabre front legs. Each having original slip seats attached. Circa 1810 – 1815 of the first quarter of 19th century.Typically associated with New York cabinetmakers of this popular design.All original with minor cracks associated with age of chairs.
